We Attract What We Feel

So, I read something a little mind-blowing the other day. According to a study by the HeartMath Institute (yes, that's a real thing!), our emotional state can literally change the electromagnetic field around our heart. In simple terms: what you feel, you send out like a human Wi-Fi signal!

And guess what: scientists found that positive emotions like gratitude can boost your immune system by up to 23%. Twenty-three! That's the difference between carrying yourself like a queen or curling up like overcooked callaloo.

HeartMath UK are spreading the word (and the science) about how emotional energy affects our hearts and bodies, teaching people to create better vibes and healthier lives. It’s not just science that's onto this. As the saying goes, "Your vibe attracts your tribe." It’s why when you’re feeling good, people want to be around you like mangoes to the sunshine. But when you’re in a bad mood... well, even your dog pretends not to see you.

Did you know that humans have about 60,000 thoughts a day and 80% of them are negative if we’re not careful. No wonder we sometimes feel like a balloon that’s lost its air.

And guess what? That tiny shift, that little flick of your emotional switch might just be the thing that changes everything else too.
