We Are More Than Our Roles
Too often, we are defined by what we do for others — mother, wife, daughter, sister, colleague.
But where do we go when we need space to rest, to feel, to process, and to heal?
Where are the communities that acknowledge:
-
The emotional complexities of menopause
-
The quiet toll of unspoken grief and loss
-
The invisible labor that comes with being “the strong one”
-
The desire to reconnect with ourselves after years of pouring out
At MyCaroline, we hold space for all of it. Because mid-life isn’t a breakdown. It’s a breakthrough.
What We Believe
Mid-life is sacred, not silent. It’s a portal into deeper self-awareness, healing, and transformation.
Self-care is not selfish. It’s a radical act of survival and self-love — especially for Black women. Community matters. We are not meant to heal in isolation. There is power in sisterhood.
Joy is necessary. Rest, laughter, softness — these are not luxuries. They’re lifelines.
Black women deserve spaces designed for us, not just around us.
Our Name Has Meaning
We named this space MyCaroline in honour of Caroline — a brilliant, loving mother and a woman of immense grace. But more than a tribute, the name is a mirror.
This space is also about your Caroline.
Your story. Your legacy. Your evolution.
It’s about returning to the parts of yourself you may have buried under responsibility, expectation, or exhaustion — and choosing, lovingly, to rise.

Ambassadors Testimonial
Mandy Tucker,
Stylist for Midlife Women
"Being an ambassador for a platform that centres the wellness of Black women is both a privilege and a deep honour. As someone who has navigated the pressures of performance, identity, and reinvention, especially in midlife. I know how often our wellness is left at the bottom of the list.
This mission aligns so closely with my own: to help Black women feel seen, supported, and powerful in every room they enter, starting with how they care for themselves. Wellness is not a luxury; it's a necessity. When we prioritise our wellbeing, we unlock a version of ourselves that is unstoppable. It takes a movement like this for us to step away from guilt and pressure to spotlight how we feel and nurture our evolution.
I’m proud to stand with My Caroline and this community as we remind Black women everywhere: you deserve to rest, to rise, and to be well, boldly and without apology."
Charlise Rookwood
"Charlise’s quote: Being an ambassador for MyCaroline is an extension of the work I already live and breathe. As a vegan chef, I use food as a form of healing and ancestral connection. MyCaroline gives voice and visibility to Black women 45+ in a way that feels deeply aligned with my mission: to nourish, empower, and celebrate our wellness journey from the inside out. It’s an honour to stand with a platform that understands our stories, supports our transitions, and reminds us that we are worthy of rest, wholeness, and joy, unapologetically."
This Isn’t Just a Membership. It’s a Movement.
We are reclaiming rest.
We are normalizing softness.
We are rewriting the story of what it means to age as a Black woman — with dignity, depth, and divine joy.
If you’ve been longing for a place that sees you — not just your titles or tasks — you’ve found it.
You Belong Here.
Whether you’re navigating the shifts of menopause, healing from burnout, or simply craving a deeper connection to yourself, MyCaroline is your home.
This is your invitation to slow down, be poured into, and rise — not in resistance, but in reverence.
Welcome home.
